Maria Santucci is the Director of Strategic Communications at U.S. News & World Report where she oversees public relations efforts and brand strategy across the company, including the Best Hospitals franchise.
Prior to joining U.S. News in 2017, Santucci worked on the Public Affairs team at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital where she oversaw media relations and crisis communications efforts for two children’s hospitals – Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital and the Komansky Center for Children’s Health – as well as the Women’s Health, Transplant and Orthopedic service lines. With a decade of experience in news and healthcare communications, she has also served as a consultant for several New York hospitals during her tenure at Rubenstein Communications in New York City.
A New York native, Santucci is a proud graduate of Hofstra University where she earned a degree in Journalism. She currently resides in Arlington, Virginia with her husband.
