Ginger Pilgrim is a Principal in the Health Industries Advisory practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers based in Memphis, Tennessee; she joined the firm in 2004 and is focused helping clients achieve operational excellence and strategically aligned cost. She has over 25 years of experience in healthcare, including public accounting  (auditing and consulting) as well as more than 10 years within the finance division at a major academic medical center. She leads our Provider Fit for Growth™ services and our Supply Chain Provider Operations efforts.  She brings extensive experience leading large scale transformative, operational efficiency and post merger integration engagements with large health systems and academic medical centers.  She has led efforts to achieve operational excellence, rationalize service levels and transform delivery of administrative and support services at large health systems and academic medical centers.  Her experience includes large scale project management, operations and process improvement, service rationalization, third party reimbursement and optimization support, financial statement analysis, Managed Care contract support, systems implementation project support, and strategy development.  Additionally, she has contributed to the development of industry thought leadership through PwC’s Health Research Institute reporting on clinical workforce issues.  She co-leads PwC’s thought leadership and client service efforts related to Social Determinates of Health, assisting providers in achieving and demonstrating measurable improvement in the health of the populations they serve.

Pilgrim holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
