Damon Hostin leads the Precision Medicine Alliance of Catholic Health Initiatives and Dignity Health, bringing advanced diagnostic and data solutions to over 150 hospitals. Prior, he was clinical business lead for Complete Genomics, working on whole genome analysis for rare and idiopathic illnesses. Earlier, he led the Life Science segment of Strategic Diagnostics’ antibody business, including IVD production, research tools and therapeutic candidate generation. Earlier, Hostin managed GenVis Labs, a genetic diagnostic company purchased by Pfizer in 2005. As a founding member of Actinium Pharmaceuticals, he managed alliances in developing targeted oncology therapeutics. As Team Leader, Sequencing at Celera Genomics, he was published on the Human and Drosophila genomes in Science and contributed to pharmaceutical partnerships. His education includes undergraduate studies at Tulane University, Master’s studies at Harvard University, and certificate programs at TIGR, the NIH, and Wharton.
