Anwesha Majumder is a Health Data Scientist at U.S. News & World Report, where she is the co-Principal Investigator on health rankings projects, including Best Hospitals. Majumder graduated with a Masters of Health Sciences degree from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Infectious Disease Epidemiology in 2015 where her research focused primarily on vaccine-preventable diseases. Her work has appeared in The Lancet and the International Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease. She joined the U.S. News Health Analysis team in 2017, where she conducts analyses of administrative data for public reporting, focusing on hospitals, individual physicians, and maternity care.
