Anne Lyren is Clinical Leader of the Children’s Hospitals’ Solutions for Patient Safety National Network (SPS), a collaborative of 135+ children’s hospitals working together to eliminate serious harm to hospitalized children and staff. She leads efforts to eradicate the most common hospital-acquired conditions and address cultural barriers to performing critical safety practices. Dr. Lyren earned degrees from Harvard (BA, Biology), University of Edinburgh, Scotland (MSc, Philosophy) and Case Western Reserve (MD). She’s Associate Professor of Pediatrics & Bioethics at Case and previously served as UH Rainbow Babies’ Vice Chair of Quality & Ethics and Interim Co-Chair of the Pediatrics Department.
