U.S. News will be hosting a special post-conference workshop to engage in dialogue with healthcare leaders on advancing health equity.

Addressing social determinants of health and closing gaps in health equity are foundational to making progress toward population health. Hospital system performance on these dimensions of health may be independent of their performance on traditional quality measures that assess primarily inpatient care. Can health equity be measured – and should it be reported – at the hospital level? In this post-conference workshop, which will be open to all registered attendees, U.S. News data scientists will present preliminary analytical work and solicit input from invited discussants and audience participants.

RSVP is required to attend this workshop.  Lunch will be provided and seating is limited.  To secure your seat at this session and participate in this critical dialogue, please RSVP by November 1 to Meera Suresh (msuresh@usnews.com).
