Dr. Charlene M. Dewey, M.D., M.Ed., FACP: A graduate of Morehouse School of Medicine (M.D. 1990) and University of Houston (M.Ed. 2004 – Curriculum Design and Evaluation). She completed her internal medicine residency and chief residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. She spent fourteen years at the Baylor College of Medicine and the last ten years at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. As a full professor at VUMC she serves as Assistant Dean for Educator Development, Director – Educator Development Program, Chair – Faculty Wellness Committee, Co-Director – Center for Professional Health, and immediate past-Chair of the Vanderbilt University Faculty Senate.
