Amy Andersen leads the population health global solutions group within the Healthcare Transformation Services business of Philips Healthcare.
Andersen and her team are responsible for developing and delivering strategic consulting solutions to help hospitals, health care systems, and governments drive clinical quality and resource efficiency to create and operationalize integrated, patient-centered systems of care.
They work with clients to define populations, clinical programs and outreach, and care coordination programs targeted at high-impact conditions and populations.
Andersen brings unique market insights and deep policy expertise to drive health care transformation, business development, and strategic partnerships. She has 20 years of leadership experience in strategic consulting, clinical transformation, population health, legislative and regulatory compliance, business development, quality and utilization metrics, and management.
She joined Philips in 2014. Prior to joining Philips, Amy led innovative strategic growth in prominent consulting, health IT, and health care service firms. She has led efforts to develop and launch technology and practice improvement solutions that spur innovations in care delivery, business process improvement, revenue optimization, and payment models. For more than ten years, Amy led strategic innovation and external relations for Kaiser Permanente. As a practice leader for Booz Allen Hamilton, she delivered strategic and operational services to government and commercial clients to support population health, care delivery transformation, and payment and risk initiatives.
Andersen holds an MA in political science from the University of Essex in the UK and a BA in political science from Mount Holyoke College in the USA.
